Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Riyo Beauty, a brand of MAS New York LLC, handles consumer health data, as required by Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. It applies to everyone, wherever you live.

What consumer health data we collect

Only what you tell us when a product doesn't agree with your skin or nails: that you had a reaction, which product and lot number, when it started, and your own description of what happened. We don't ask for photos of your skin or nails, and we don't collect health data any other way. Our website doesn't use your browsing to infer anything about your health.

Where it comes from

Only from you, when you email us.

Why we collect it and how we use it

• To give you the refund you asked for
• To check the product batch involved and keep our products safe
• To keep the safety records cosmetic companies must keep, and to report serious reactions to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) when the law requires it

We don't use it for any other purpose. If we ever wanted to, we would ask for your permission first. We never use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Our email provider, which stores our messages with you and may use them only to provide that service to us
• The FDA, only for reactions the law defines as serious, such as those needing medical treatment

We have no affiliates that receive it. We never sell consumer health data and never share it with advertising partners.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Confirm whether we hold consumer health data about you, and see it, including a list of everyone we shared it with
• Delete it, including from our email provider's systems. We may keep a minimal record if the law requires it, such as an FDA safety record, and we will tell you if we do
• Withdraw your consent, where we relied on it

Email with the subject "Health Data Request." We confirm your identity by matching your email address to your order, and we reply within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and finish within another 45 days. Using these rights never affects how we treat you.

If we decline your request, reply with the subject "Privacy Appeal" and we will answer within 45 days. If you still disagree, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General, or the attorney general where you live.
